Oliver Harud Cruzing

I first met Oliver at our Ganton St gallery back in November 2007, he wandered in clutching a portfolio as if it were a bar of gold, I was clutching a pint in the same manner

After putting my pint down and looking through the folio I knew instantly that I wanted to work with him. He’s a very talented guy and also part of the old school (as in he’s incredibly well mannered, not that he used to paint subway trains in NYC)

Oliver studied illustration at Bristol and has freelanced since then. His first artistic influences were comics and manga animation; both of which still play a huge part in his work today

Clients such as The Guardian, Mercedes, Hachette and the gaming giant Sony have helped to secure the rent money

Oliver creates strong graphic works based on his love of the hand drawn line and draftsmanship skills which he works up into striking artwork by drawing over photography and the digital medium
